The BBC News Website today carries the story of the unveiling of the ‘magical’ new iPhone. Apple’s latest unveiling has been in the pipeline for sometime now and tidbits of information have been leaking from the orifices of the web over the past few months.
Reghardware.com ran a story in September last year where info on the phone was alleged to have been leaked in Paris. Elsewhere, tech bloggers (righty) salivated at the prospect of this catch-all creation with speculatve concepts being drawn up left, right and centre.

T3.co.uk has uploaded a plethora of pod-phone related information including a full blow-by-blow account of the unveiling….should you be interested in such literary lethargy. More interestingly, however, is their coverage of the various features of the new killer-gadget. This includes how the iPod works, what the phone’s like, why the internet kicks every other mobile device into touch and how the interface has started a revolution.

Personally i’m pretty excited to see how this turns out as it could be that it shifts us into the next gear if what is already a fast moving vehicle in the technology-age.
Tying in with this, take a swing by prblogger.com and scan over Stephen’s latest piece on the advent of the ‘e-paper’ . Flexible LED technology has been in development for some time now and is yet another exciting technological development that may soon see our lives transformed. We ofte talk of the paperless office and in some places, this seems possible. But, A paperless media office!? . Although this may sound like a contadiction in terms – this could soon become a reality!

I am very excited about the prospect of the iphone, he who dares wins.. and it looks like apple is again leading the way. I just hope the battery lasts longer than it does on my ipod mini…nothing more frustrating than your phone running out of juice!
