The Edelman Pub Quiz night was an event to remember. I would normally shy away from such an affair due to my atrocious general knowledge credentials and general dislike for putting my brain gear while sitting in a pub! Nevertheless, I’m glad I decided to go along, even the quiz itself was a good laugh, despite the fact that the team I was on unquestionably lost, thank goodness we at least had a member from healthcare to answer all those testing scientific questions. The great thing about the whole affair was that it was a good way to get to know members of Edelman from other teams who I hadn’t come across before in the office. Again Edelman came up trumps with a free bar and as I’m sure you can imagine we didn’t spend the entire night sitting around marking our answer sheets. In fact, the pub quiz descended or ascended (depending on your view) into the unofficial Edelman dance moves contest as we all made for the floor.

Apart from these special organized social events called Edelman Free Time, the company also buys in wine and beer on a Friday and we all congregate in Dave’s Diner for a light refreshment. It’s a great way to start the evening off, quite often we then transfer to our salubrious company local called, well called by Edelman staff “The Piano Bar”.
